North Dakota Marriage & Family Therapy Licensure Board
Who We Are
The North Dakota Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board (NDMFTLB) was established by the North Dakota Legislature in 2005. Our mission is to adopt and enforce rules for marriage and family therapy licensing, which are designed to protect the public.
The NDMFTLB:
- Regulates licensees through educational requirements, supervised experience, and national and state examinations.
- Establishes and implements procedures designed to assure that licensed marriage and family therapists comply with the board’s rules.
- Adopts and implements a code of ethics for all licensed marriage and family therapists.
- Establishes continuing education requirements for marriage and family therapists.
Board Meetings
The North Dakota Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board, NDCC43-53 and Title 111 Administrative Code of the State of North Dakota (hereafter referred to as “governing body”), will be holding a regular meeting on November 6, 2024 at 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held by Zoom virtually by contacting ndmftlb.midco.net or leave a message on the webpage email. Electronic links will be sent with a 24 hour notice. At the time this notice is being prepared, the governing body expects the agenda of its meeting to include the following topics:
Establish Quorum, Approve Minutes of regular and special meetings, Financials, Applications Status, CEU reports, Board Restructuring, Announcements. The legal authority for holding any anticipated executive sessions is described in NDCC 44-0 This is a regular meeting, additional topics may be discussed. Date of Notice: November 4, 2024.
